Apply

Apply for a listed position or send us an open application. Every application is reviewed by our recruitment team based on the role’s criteria. If your profile is a good fit, we’ll schedule a phone call with you.

Connect

During this first call, we take the time to get to know each other. We’ll share more about our story, our culture, and the benefits we offer. Most importantly, we want to learn about you — your experience, your motivations, and your goals. It’s also a chance for both sides to see if the fit feels right.

Meet

If your profile moves forward, we’ll reach out by email to schedule an in-person interview with our HR advisor and your future manager. It’s a chance to explore your skills in more depth and talk about what you can bring to the team. And of course, you’ll get a tour of the office!

Join

No matter the outcome, we’re committed to following up with everyone we meet during the interview process. If it’s a match, our HR advisor will call you to make a verbal offer, followed by a written one, and answer any questions you may have. Before your first day, you’ll also receive a personalized onboarding plan.

What happens after I submit my application?

If your profile aligns with what we’re looking for, our team will get in touch to schedule an initial phone call. Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. You can find more details about this step in our recruitment process.

Can I apply for more than one position at a time?

Absolutely. If multiple roles interest you and align with your experience, feel free to apply to each one.

What criteria do you use to select candidates?

We look at a combination of technical and interpersonal skills, relevant experience, and most importantly, whether your values align with ours. We may also request tests or professional references.

How long does the recruitment process take?

On average, it takes about 3 to 4 weeks after the initial phone call. The exact timeline may vary depending on the role and its responsibilities.

Will I receive a response if my application is not selected?

We follow up with everyone we’ve spoken to by phone or met in person for an interview. Whenever possible, we also provide constructive feedback. If it’s not the right fit this time, we encourage you to stay connected and keep an eye out for future opportunities.

What does the onboarding process look like?

Before your first day, your HR advisor and manager will prepare a personalized onboarding plan, which you’ll receive when you arrive. It outlines your first few weeks, includes suggested readings, introduces key people to meet, and sets out the initial goals for your new role.

What is UTILE’s approach to remote work?

Depending on your role and team, you can work from home 2 to 3 days a week. Tuesdays and Thursdays are in-office days because we also enjoy being together in person!
